I made this today to serve with corned beef and cabbage. It was delicious! Soaking the raisins made them plump and juicy, and the carraway seeds added just the right oomph. I followed the recipe exactly except I used regular raisins instead of black currents (couldn’t find them) and had to bake my loaf an extra ten or so minutes. But such tasty results!

I just made this and had it for breakfast, and I second that it’s delicious! I didn’t have golden raisins, so I just used currants.
