I will have to sit this one out, sorry Karin. Im making so many pies for TG, I think I better pass on more sweets.

When are the December recipes going up? It would be nice to plan ahead.

Sorry, will have to pass on this one. Not a big fan of fruitcakes. And I already have 2-3 baking projects going on for this week.

I want to do this one, but with baking 8 cakes for Thanksgiving I probably will give myself and my oven a rest. I do plan on baking this since my DH comes from a fruitcake loving family. It will be around Christmas.

I’m going to try my bestest to make this… probably late on Saturday night.

I love almonds, so I will definitely be making this – already bought the marzipan. I’ll just have to make sure to pass the leftover Thanksgiving desserts to family members so I don’t have too many sweets around.

I figured I was going out on a limb here, but my dad LOVES fruitcake and no one has made it for him since my grandmother died. I hope its a good recipe!! I’m very curious about the marzipan.

Sorry to sit out yet another week, but we’re out of town…again! Disneyland this time. I’ll try to catch up before our last recipe of the year. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!

We’re traveling for Thanksgiving, so I won’t be baking this one!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

I’ll have to sit this one out. First off, I dont think my parents enjoy me baking very much, and I am at home this weekend. In addition, I’ll be all over the place this weekend – at home, shopping, etc.

I will be sitting this one out too…I don’t do fruitcake in any way, shape, or form, not even for Sweet Melissa. :} Besides, I spent yesterday baking 46 1/2 dozen cookies for my OBG soldiers and am baked out at the moment!

Hi – I tried this cake and it’s really delicious but my cake sunk in the middle. Any idea why?
